The Story Begins
Issue #01 — Teaser
Birth of a Hero
Finally, it is Sunday. All of his friends were free and had bought all the stuff he had told them to buy. They arrived at Xin's home at around 3:00pm and as they were arriving they started catching up about their college life.
"Yeah, it's great up there. I'm meeting a lot of girls"
"But I guess you're not having luck with any of them or you wouldn't be here, right?"
Everyone laughed. Those were Ryan and Charlie...
But one of them got past him and was going straight for Charlie. Xin turned around, reached out to try and catch it. He was far away from reaching it, but he could feel an energy surge flowing through his body. He focused on the palm of his hand and he let out a scream... A wave of energy was expelled from his body and reached the insect, which fell down after a tiny explosion due to an evident short-circuit.
All of them looked at Xin, in absolute awe. But no one was as surprised as Xin himself.
Issue #02 — Teaser
Rise of a Hero
After the last incident, Xin woke up with a nightmare, feeling exhausted, nauseous, and with a headache the likes of which he hadn't felt since the last time he got drunk, 7 months before.
"Hey baby, got some sleep?" said his mother.
"Well, I heard you arriving at around 6:30am and its 10 o'clock right now so... Almost 30 hours! That must be a new record or something!"
The Professor's face popped through the door. His evident lack of sleep, plus his head full of gray and his unkempt gray beard would've made anyone think this half a century old man was approaching his 70th birthday.
Tyro knew what could happen after the incident at the lab, and that had him terrified. He knew that the teenagers weren't in danger, at least at the moment, but he knew they would never be the same again. The professor decided his main objective would be to think of a way to control the explosion effects.
